She is the founder of Companion Culture, a curatorial office that empowers clients to develop projects at the forefront of contemporary art. From 2018 to 2025 Long served as Artistic Director and Curator of the Julia Stoschek Foundation, where she oversaw exhibitions, new commissions, and discursive formats across both locations. Long has curated solo exhibitions by artists such as Sophia Al-Maria, Meriem Bennani, A.K. Burns, Stephanie Comilang & Simon Speiser, Rindon Johnson, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Ulysses Jenkins, Tarek Lakhrissi, Theodolous Polyviou, WangShui, and Young-jun Tak, among others. Recent large-scale group exhibitions include A Fire in My Belly (2021); at dawn (2022) Unbound: Performance as Rupture (2023); and After Images (2024). Prominent performances include presentations by caner teker, Labour (Farahnaz Hatam & Colin Hacklander), (La)Horde, Matana Roberts, Marina Rosenfeld or Colin Self.
